Did I really just hit “publish” on the first ABA podcast episode?! (Yes I did!)
This is a new format for the “Subscriber Spotlight” series, where I go in-depth on another broad abroad’s story. I personally love listening to podcasts, and I think it’s one of the best mediums to capture someone’s personal narrative.
In this inaugural episode, I chat with my friend Laura to talk about her journey moving from Kazakhstan to New Zealand at just 18 years old. She highlights the support from her family and the challenges she faced as an expat. She discusses the cultural differences, the emotional and logistical hurdles of immigration, and the personal growth that comes from living abroad.
